Are Your Network Marketing Techniques Still Working?

Do not use the network marketing techniques your up line has been teaching you. You know, the 3 foot rule, hanging fliers, bugging your family and friends, and holding hotel meetings. They did not create a group of 10,000 people searching parking lots for empty cars to stick fliers on! How embarrassing. Have you done this? Don’t you just cringe when you walk up to a car, pull up the wiper blade and BAM, someone is behind the wheel! I would love to know who started that one.

In the beginning of my network marketing career my up line gave me these ancient techniques. I was told to list all my friends and family, contact every one of them to see if they were interested in creating an income from home. Lets just say I had one person who would still talk to me when I was done!

When I actually did find someone who would speak to me, they asked questions I was unable to answer. This made me more frustrated.

I ended up with not one person left to talk to as my whole list literally would run if they saw me coming. On my up lines advice I began to buy leads for $5.00. I sent out emails to fake email addresses. I made hundreds of calls to phone numbers that were no longer working . When I got through by calling a working phone number the person on the end of the line was not very nice. I was under the impression that these were leads. I felt like I had no hope at all. I had no self esteem left.

Because I had spent so much of my time and money I truly felt as if I was depleted of both. I believe I was also losing my mind. I put in so much effort and ended up without anything.

I was about to throw in the towel when I figured there had to be a smarter way to work. I was on a quest to find the answer to the lead generation mystery. I found the safety net I so desperately needed as I was falling fast and this was the only safe bet!
