Plan your trip to try and avoid the heat and humidity of the summer holidays. Also try and avoid the Christmas holidays when the traffic and large crowds can make for a less pleasant experience. There is also a small insect called ‘love bug’ which can make a visit very annoying during May and September when there are large numbers of these. If you take these things into consideration the off-season definitely provides the best opportunity for a visit.

If the weather turns bad during your visit it is no reason to despair. Disney World also offers superb indoor activities which can be enjoyed during bad weather. Some of these include Hollywood and Universal Studios and also Epcot is popular. The outdoor rides will be closed during storms and it’s just a case of finding something else to enjoy while you wait for the weather to improve.

Many people prefer not to visit Disney World during the hurricane season to avoid any problems which may occur. Whenever you decide to plan a trip there are two key factors to remember. Firstly arrive early to avoid the queues and secondly get a map of the layout which makes it much easier to find your way around.
